Cinematic vision

I’m trying to find the cinematic vision for the documentary “In the footsteps of the artists”.

My initial thought was French Country Style, as we are shooting in the countryside outside Paris.

But when doing more detailed subject research, I found out something called Grez School or Grez Style that was a common theme in their art. E.g. silver shimmer, muted colors in gray, green and brown. The motifs were the nearby landscape or gardens with dressed locals as subjects in the paintings, few close-ups & portraits and mostly at a distance, i.e. wide shots.
