Remote video interviews are not that easy (part 1)

Shooting a short interview is normally not seen as a big issue today.

How hard could it be to make a remote interview? A decent camera and separate microphone is all that takes. You have your laptop computer or mobile phone and that's everything needed, right?

The truth is that remote video interviews are not that easy.

When preparing for a remote video interview, there are a number of factors to consider, such as:

  • Intervju skills
  • Number of participants and their locations
  • Budget
  • Type of connection
  • Software
  • Sound Equipment
  • Video Equipment

All of these factors  have impact on the final result and the most important are the interview skills. This is the topic for the second part in this serie.
